About me

This is me, in the H&M changing rooms in Manchester, UK. Something possessed me to take a picture of what I am wearing and from this, I have now decided to post my outfits or ootd on the internet. 

My name is Isabel Christine Smith, my mums maiden name is 'Amato', hence the reason why I use it in my blog name. As you may have already figured out, she is Italian and my dad is English making me exactly half and half. I was exposed to both cultures and languages after I was born in St Mary's Hospital in London on the 10th September 1996, I moved from London a few years after to a small town near Oxford. Then at the age of 6 I moved again to a small village in Cheshire, UK, with my mum, dad and my sister, Valentina. I still live here and over a decade on, I still have the same two best friends. I am currently 18 years old. I have been passed the typical Italian gene making me a tiny 5'3 with a faint shade of olive skin, dark brown hair and unusually, light coloured eyes. At the moment I am in a sixth form college studying Psychology, Spanish and History. However my underlying love is style and fashion. Very cliché, yes, but I remember the first time I started to take an interest in fashion design was when I moved to high school aged 12 and I kept it up and in fact, I studied Fashion and Textiles in college last year where I got a top grade in my coursework. But besides studying the subject, I sew at home and this stems from my mother who taught me everything and for this, I will forever thank her for this. 

On this blog I will casually and consistently post the outfits that I wear on a day to day basis so I can share my taste with all of you. I will simply upload a picture or two then write down where everything is from, along with their price and a link. Quick, easy and hopefully enjoyable!
